Our next class trip is quickly approaching. We will be going to the Prospect Park Zoo on November 21st, 2011. We will be leaving by bus at 9:30 and should be back at around 12:30. As always snacks and water will be provided for the children. We will have lunch upon our arrival at school.
In Science we are learning about Animals and Plants, and this is a perfect time to visit the zoo. This children will be participating in a Workshop called Magnificent Mammals while at the zoo and will have a chance to walk around and see different animals in there habitats.
Magnificent Mammals Prospect Park Zoo is home to mammals such as meerkats, baboons, sea lions, and more. Students will discover the characteristics of mammals and how their adaptations help them to survive in a variety of habitats.
