We have had a wonderful start to the new school year and have already had the pleasure of getting to know our wonderful first graders. In the month of September we spent a lot of time learning classroom routines, since first grade is quite a big change from kindergarten. The children have adjusted beautifully.
As your child's first grade teacher it is my goal to provide them with a hands on learning experience, where they will have the opportunity to explore and ask questions. Morah Ariella and I will be working together in the classroom. I will be teaching all English subjects, which include Math, Reading, Writing, Science, and Social Studies. Morah Ariella will be teaching all Judaic subjects, which include Hebrew Reading (Kriya), Middos, Parsha, and Festivals. We also have Morah Mushky our wonderful assistant. She will be helping the teachers and working with the children when the need arises.
Together we hope to give your children a wonderful learning experience by creating a happy learning environment, and friendly classroom.
