Bringing Purim happiness to others

Last Monday we went to the Senior Center! We presented ourselves in Russian and sang Hebrew songs about Purim. We danced and warmed their hearts by giving them Purim cards we prepared.

If I Were President ...

In Social Studies we are focusing on "Our Country." We have learned about the Government, and what it does. We focused on laws and the different parts of the Judicial system. As an activity the kids wrote about: "If I Were President..."

Math Fun: Learning About Capacity

In math class we are finishing Unit 1A and the last thing we learned about was Capacity. For this topic we experimented with comparing Capacity. We used water, a water bottle, and a measuring cup. We poured water from a 1 gallon container into small cups and the poured it back to measure the capacity. We checked to see if the cups would measure the same amount of water.
